Can I have your opinion on wedding bands (men & women)????

   His ring does not have to match your ring at all so when it comes to that part you should choose the metal that HE likes to wear.

   I like the regular knot. The love knot is beautiful but much more girly.

   If he won’t talk about the general idea of what he wants (I don’t understand this but to each his own right?) get a ring that is completely yellow gold. Then if it turns out he wants white any jewler dip it for you. Only takes a day or two. If you get him a white gold look you can’t reverse the process and get it back to yellow.

   I got a tungsten ring for my husband. He loves it! It’s beautiful and durable.

   If he likes the celtic stuff, then go for it. I imagine that would be a little too foofy for most guys.

   the rings are nice but remember to stick with something he can wear comfortably all the time. At work and at play. If his job involves physical labor, you have to consider damage or loss to the ring. If he works in a conservative environment or in a not so perfect neighborhood, you should consider what is appropriate for that as well. I know he wants a surprise but at least ask him what he wants and what he doesn’t want. He should be at least steering you in the right direction. I agree with the other answerer that the rings don’t have to match.

   hmmmm, heres what i can tell you, Titanium is a bad ring to get, they cannot cut it instead if his finger swells and they have to cut one or the other, itll be his finger, they cannot cut or resize titanium, White gold goes with everything, and it seems to be the way everyone is going toward, they yellow gold isnt as common as it used to be, so i would choose aplatinum or white gold ring.

   I personally do not like this celtic knot at all. I think that wedding bands should be plain and simple cause it is a ring that you are supposed to wear for life. You should not follow any fashion trends or get anything too eccentric.
   For your husband buy something simple and classy, you can never go wrong with that.
   By the way are you sure about the gold?? Why not platinum?

   Since you are a Celt, there is a Celtic ring called a Claddagh ring which has two hands holding a heart covered by a crown.The hands of the ring are shown holding the heart and the hands represent friendship and togetherness, the heart itself is the symbol of love and the crown in the Claddagh ring stands for loyalty. Historically, it is an ideal choice for a wedding. They make a wider version for a man that is bulkier and not at all feminine.The Claddagh rings are gold but maybe you could even find platinum. Find them on any Irish web site.

   I like both of the top rings, but prefer the classic knot rather than the hearts, although both are pretty. I like the last one but to me it looks more like an “every day” ring, I love the colour on it, that makes it different.

    Usually for the woman you would get a matching band to that of the engagement ring, something that would complement it. As far for the man it would depend on his touch and how much he is willing to spend.I would recommend http://www.leoingwer.com.They have a vast selection and great styles for everbody. As far as diamonds online shopping would be the way to do to buy a ring at a wholesale price. Not sure what your budget is but Ebay would save you alot of money, see http://stores.ebay.com/Diamond-Genius-Jewelry has an affordable selection and great buys in clarity enhanced diamonds.Real, natural diamonds for twice the size while half the price.

    My husband’s ring has the claddah symbol engraved on his. It’s made from steel (I wanted something scratch resistant for him) and was only $40 at http://www.limoges.com.

    No one can tell that it isn’t gold…in fact, many people think it’s platinum.

    I was just looking for wedding bands too. I like Tiffany & Co.’s very much. You should check it out too.

    They range from $400 ~ $15000.
